Situational Tournament

Rules

1. The first team to win 3 out of 5 (or 2 out of 3) games per set wins that set.
2. Winners advance, losers are eliminated.
3. No zones are zone presses (full or half court) are allowed.
4. Second and fourth quarter players play Situation 1 and Situation 3.
5. First and third quarter players play Situations 2 and Situations 4.
6. The coach can play anybody in Situation 5.
7. Each team is permitted one time out per Situation.
8. Both teams are in the bonus (all common fouls are 1 and 1)
9. Overtime is sudden death (the first team to lead by 2 points wins).
10. Possession arrow is in favor of the team that begins each situation on defense.

Set 1

1. Skins down 3 with ball at half court.  1 minute left.
2. Shirts down 2 with ball under their offensive basket, 40 seconds left.
3. Skins down 3, ball front court side-out, 8 seconds left.
4. Shirts down 5, front court side-out, 24 seconds left.
5. Tie game, Skins ball, side-out back court.  1 minute left.

Set 2

1. Shirts down 1 with the ball under their offensive basket, 18 seconds left.
2. Skins down 2 with ball at half court, 40 seconds left.
3. Shirts down 4 with ball backcourt side, 45 seconds left.
4. Skins down 3 with ball at half court, 18 seconds left.
5. Tie game.  Shirts ball, side-out front court, 30 seconds left.

Set 3

1. Skins down 4 with ball at half court, 28 seconds left.
2. Shirts down 5 with ball under their offensive basket, 45 seconds left.
3. Tie game.  Skins ball, shooting 1-1 FT, 25 seconds left.

Set 4

1. Skins down 2 with ball at half court, 28 seconds left.
2. Shirts down 3 with ball under their own offensive basket, 15 seconds left.
3. Skins down 1, shirt ball backcourt side, 11 seconds left.
4. Shirts down 1 with ball under opponents basket (may run baseline), 8 seconds left.
5. Tie game.  Shirts ball, shooting 1-1 FT, 20 seconds left.
