12 Tough Coaching Situations

1. Losing your job and making the first call for help.
2. Coaching a player who cannot stand you and you do not respect him.
3. Having a losing season your last year of coaching.
4. Finding out your assistant coach is not loyal.
5. Fighting cancer while you continue to coach.
6. Your child or family member dies during the season.
7. Your athletic director is a turd and you know it.
8. Turning around a losing program.
9. Realizing one of your players or coaches has an alcohol or drug problem.
10. Being shot dead while holding the hand of your child. (e.g. Ricky Birdsong)
11. Being down by 20 against your crosstown rival with one minute to go during Homecoming.
12. Finishing your practice on October 15^th and realizing you will compete for 8^th place in a 7 team conference.

We should all appreciate the better moments in this game.  God knows there will be some rough times!
