Who can apply?
You can apply for a New Brunswick birth certificate if you are:
(a) the person whose name appears on the certificate
(b) parents of the person whose name appears on the certificate. For children over 19, parents require their authorization.
(c) an Agent or person with written authorization of (a) or (b) above
(d) a legal guardian (you must include your guardianship papers
